GOOD NEWS
Last month we had bad news about the second academy closing. This month we have good news. We should be moving into at new unit twice the size of our current one by the beginning of May. This will give you much more room in class, provide a bigger, comfier waiting area and allow us to get some new training equipment for you to use. In the meantime we are unfortunately all crammed into the current unit. Please bear with us as some classes may be a bit full until we move.
We will keep you up to date with the move and when our grand opening will be. Thanks for your patience
NEXT GRADING
Next grading is booked for June 5th and 6th. We will confirm times soon.
PRIVATE GRADINGS
We realise that getting to gradings may be difficult sometimes, so we are can now offer private gradings to students that have missed or cant make a grading due to injury or scheduling conflicts. These will cost £50, so that only those persons that legitimately cant make the group grading will book. You will then have to attend the next scheduled grading to have your grade verified by Chief. Speak to Matt or James if you want to book a private grading.
MMA GRADINGS
Speaking of gradings we are holding a MMA grading for students on Friday 7th May. You can download a copy of the
mma syllabus on the website. The grading will take about 2 hours during which time we will assess your level and at the end award you a grade. You will then receive a t shirt with the new fusion mma logo on the back in your grade colour. Get your names down if you are interested folks.
NATHAN LEVERTON MMA SEMINAR
More MMA related news. We have arranged a seminar with renowned grappling coach Nathan Leverton. Nathan is the grappling instructor to fighters like Paul Daley, Dan Hardy, Andre Winner and Ross Pearson. I have personally trained with Nathan and he is amazing. I guarantee you will learn at least a years worth of training material on this course. He is a world class coach.

MASTERS ACADEMY FITNESS CHALLENGE
Tough one. 100 stand up burpees as fast as you can. Some students have already managed it in under 2 minutes! Wow.
